With Infiniti having already announced that it has efforts underway to launch new vehicles with electrified powertrains from the year 2021, the upcoming debut of the new EV concept indicates that Infiniti is advancing towards its goal. The new concept EV has been developed by the company’s teams in Japan, the US, and the UK.
Ahead of the forthcoming debut of the new concept EV, Infiniti has released a teaser image of the vehicle. Although the teaser image does not reveal many details about the design of the concept EV, it shows a cockpit which indicates a single-seat vehicle. The image also hints at the EV’s aerodynamic nature, as is evident from the triangular-shaped air intakes behind the driver seat.
The teaser image also shows the new concept EV’s red accented steering wheel and a small windshield. Overall, from the teaser image, the vehicle appears to be the spiritual successor of the Prototype 9, but with notably sharp design elements.
