Tesla Model S and Model X updated with new finish options

US electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla Motors has rolled out a few minor updates to introduce new finish options for the interiors of Model S and Model X vehicles.

According to the information shared by Tesla, the changes which Tesla has planned for the interiors of Model S and Model X vehicles are going into production with immediate effect. The updated options are being introduced to the vehicles’ existing orders which are still in pre-production stage.

The most notable update released by Tesla for Model S and Model X is the use of a new ‘darker graphite’ finish on most of the interior accent trim pieces of both the vehicles. The darker graphite finish is applicable to all interior options for the two vehicles.

So far as the new finish option is concerned, Tesla has introduced a new ‘Oak Décor’ finish for the ‘Cream Premium’ interior option available for Model S and Model X. The new finish marks a slightly lighter shade as compared to the earlier offering in the mentioned interior option package.

However, as a result of the updated finish options for Model S and Models X, the Cream Premium and Black textile option will no longer be available for the performance models of the two vehicles.
